New EU Law Will Force Mobile Phone, Laptop And Tablet Manufacturers To Come Back With User-replaceable Batteries
This is going to change the way we use and toss out batteries.
And I'm not just talking about the small stuff like phone batteries, nope, this law covers laptops, tablets, e-Bikes and electric car batteries too! It will require all mobile devices to have user-replaceable batteries by 2027.
You know what that means, right?
We won't have to beg tech shops to change our batteries or ditch our devices when the battery goes kaput. We can actually do it ourselves! How awesome is that?
I stumbled upon this YouTube video that breaks down all the juicy details about this new law. It's super informative and gives you a real peek into what this whole shebang means for us and the planet. You've got to check it out.
No more embedded batteries that cannot be replaced. Those tricky glued-in batteries in some iPhones and Galaxy phones will have to make way for the new era of user-friendliness.
