When someone passes away, what do you do with their profile? Do you remove them from your friend list or follower list? Do you keep them there as a memory? Or do you simply leave things the way they are?

I started thinking about this after scrolling through my own friends list recently. To my surprise, I found several people who passed away years ago, but their profiles are still active on my page -- frozen in time, like digital ghosts. It made me realize that in the world we live in today, death doesn't automatically disconnect us from people online.

Some people delete the profile out of respect.
Some keep it because it feels like letting go all over again.
Others don't touch anything because they don't know what they're "supposed" to do.

Social media has changed the way we grieve.
It keeps memories alive -- photos, messages, likes, comments -- tiny fragments of a life that doesn't exist anymore except in digital form. And sometimes, those reminders are comforting. Other times, they're painful. But they're always there unless we decide to change something.

So I'm curious...

How many people on your friends or followers list are no longer alive?
And how do you handle that?
Do you remove them?
Do you keep them?
Do you even notice?

This is one of the strange realities of our digital world: our online lives often outlive us.
