Did I tell you about my first Shelbyville Indiana experience?

I just told a lovely lady about my unexpected visit to Shelbyville, Indiana--and invited her to read about it on my blog. The only twist? It wasn't on this blog. That's the challenge of having too many blogs--you sometimes forget where the original story lives.

Here's the short version: I was doing rideshare when a call came in. The payout looked good, so I accepted it. Only after picking up the passenger did I realize--28 miles out of my way. That's how I ended up in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Instead of getting upset, I turned it into a new story--one more unexpected twist in life and another lesson in keeping an open mind.

You can read the full adventure, complete with photos and the details I discovered along the way, in the two articles linked below.

The first article in my photo journal is about the first picture you saw on top. The place where I stopped to take a break from my 28 mi trip.

The second article it's basically what I decided to do after stopping, what I saw what and what I learned unexpectedly.
