1,400 members of the NYPD are now infected with Coronavirus, CNN reports

It is Wednesday, April 1st 2020, and CNN is reporting more than 1,400 members of the New York's police department (NYPD) are infected with the Coronavirus.

6,200 NYPD police officers are out sick. That represents roughly 17% of the police department.

Five NYPD officers have already lost their lives to COVID-19.
