COVID-19 S.O.S. Emergency alert went out to all cell phones in New York State asking healthcare workers for help

I was driving down on the Hudson River Parkway in Manhattan when all of a sudden my phone started beeping. Then I received this emergency alert. New York City is asking all healthcare workers for assistance, a covid-19 extreme alert!

Do you remember the famous line from the movie Chicken Little?

The sky is falling!

The sky is falling!

I think it's time we got really afraid. If you were not afraid before, hell, what can I tell you?Be very afraid!

I received a message on my mobile phone and so did two other people who were in my car with me.

Emergency alert

Type: Extreme alert

I don't know for sure if it went out to everyone in New York state but the fact that all three of us got it in the car I think it did.
