Coca-Cola and other soda makers keep increasing the can size and consumers just keep on gulping it down

Coca-Cola started with a 6.5-ounce (192 ml) bottle when it was first introduced in 1886. Over the years, the company has expanded its range of sizes to accommodate different consumer preferences.

Today, the most common can sizes are:

12-ounce (355 ml): The classic size for most Coca-Cola cans.

16-ounce (473 ml): Often found in convenience stores and sometimes called a "tallboy."

20-ounce (591 ml): This size is more common in plastic bottles, but you might find it in some special or promotional cans.

24-ounce (710 ml): This is the largest standard can size available in the U.S. for Coca-Cola.

The question is why does the can size keep getting bigger and bigger?
