I'm going to quit my day job and become a doorman at the Ritz Carlton Hotel
I picked up a young man in my ride share vehicle who told me how much money he makes in tips as a doorman at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and I quickly realized I am in the wrong line of work!
"I made $150 in tips today and it is just a regular day," he said.
Son of a bitch!
I could work an entire day some days as a Ride share driver and not make that kind of money, I thought.
Now I understand why he drives his Ford Mustang to work. A gas guzzler, he says, spending at least 60 bucks every two days on gas. He gets that money in tips.
In just one day during the Super Bowl, I made over $1,000 in tips. He said.
To hell with ride share driving! I need to get me a job as a doorman at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
