Some cities in the Netherlands are guarded by flood walls to prevent them from flooding because there are below sea level
Besides some individual towns in the Netherlands being guarded by flood walls, big gigantic flood barriers have also built to protect these cities against flooding because nearly one-third of the Netherlands is below sea level.
