Is an SSD really better than a regular hard drive?
🔗 Share this on: Facebook TwitterI didn't realize how wonderful and SSD drive is until I swapped one in to replace the old HDD hard drive in my old laptop. What a difference this thing made.
I wrote about it in one of the articles listed on this page but first let me tell you what I found out.
In general, an SSD (Solid State Drive) is better than an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) for most users. SSDs are much faster, which means your computer starts up quicker and runs smoother.
While HDDs usually offer more storage space for a lower price, SSDs are more reliable, use less power, and are less likely to break because they don't have any moving parts.
