Close to 10 million Americans are now unemployed in only two weeks because of covid-19 pandemic
3.3 million Americans filed for unemployment claims in one week alone. The following week the figure doubled. 6.6 million more apply for unemployment bringing the total to close to 10 million in only 2 weeks because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
All these people lost their jobs due to massive layoffs from businesses closing in virtually every part of America.
Now the US unemployment rate has skyrocketed to new heights beating old records.
CNN business reported this has the most devastating periods in history for the American job market saying that unemployment benefits have surged more than three thousand percent since March.
This is unbelievable!
