The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, the American military and maritime history museum in New York City, is temporarily closed until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the State.

All on-site Museum programming and events through May 11 have also been canceled.

A note on their website reads:

The health and safety of our employees, volunteers and visitors is always our number one priority. The Museum is continually monitoring all of the relevant city, state and federal agencies, as well as the CDC and NYC Department of Health, and will continue to follow all mandates and guidelines.
